I hide in the background. Quiet and unsure on how to approach others and I constantly battle the pesky shyness that has plagued my life. One of the reasons why I love online communities, it’s so much easier to write than speak. I have two fathers, Dad #1 otherwise known as Beadfather and Dad #2, the fellow Bookworm. I love those two with intense feeling! If ever one should need, I provide without question. I also have a Grandmother that I claim as my mother. She’s an interesting character. Keeps me smiling and laughing when otherwise I would drown in my own doubts and uncertainties. I don’t make friends easily but when I do, it’s for life. I work at Walgreens as a Sims Coordinator (which basically means Inventory Manager). I’m the one the customers come looking for if we’re out of a certain product. Sometimes they come after me with pitchforks, other times with praise depending on the season. If it’s Christmas, it’s a bloody war and I’m a goner. I have no hope to survive and usually hide in the office, listening to the “Queen of the Damned” soundtrack. Halloween, on the other hand, different story - I like to keep the skeletons well stocked and will go out of my way to find the perfect black rose and the right tombstone for those special souls that like the dark as much as I do.

I’ll like to meet people that won’t judge my family and will take the time to get to know us. We’re a crazy bunch but we don’t bite (okay, maybe once or twice but never on the first meeting). I’ll like to get to know someone that understands my quiet ways and will give me a chance to come out of my shell. I’ll like a friend that understands that my family and friends come first and me second. I like to give. Giving brings me so much joy. I spoil my fathers and few friends and will always keep an eye out for the perfect gift. If I find out you like something, it’s fair game. You’ll accept the gift and smile and don’t ever tell me ‘you shouldn’t have.’ I want to give! Ask my Dad #1. Half of his collections of dragons are my “gifts” to him. And Dad #2? I found out he liked Storm from the X-Men comics. I will find a Storm shirt for him even if it kills me! *laughs*

I’m not looking for a boyfriend, so please don’t go there. I got issues on that but I’m learning to deal. If I know you well enough, I might even tell you the reasons behind this. I’m just looking for friends that won’t mind being dragged to go see a movie, or an occasional costume party, or eating my cookies that I bake for no reason, swapping CDs left and right and won’t mind being spoiled. I have to spoil my friends. It’s a given. So, yeah. Any takers? *goes on hands and knees* I want a friend! Just one! Please?
